1. Who should attend?


The Thinking Mobile™ 2011 Confex is open to any individual or organization that seeks empowerment in the mobile arena. The event is most beneficial to NGO’s, Parastatals, Business Owners, Marketing-, Communication or PR Professionals, Business Experts or -Coaches, Media Buyers or Product-,  Brand- or Event Managers.

2. What topics will be covered?

The mobile industry is technology driven so it is prone to rapid changes, upgrades and new offerings. The purpose of the Thinking Mobile™ 2011 Confex is to give attendees an overview of relevant, non-technical information so that they are best equipped to develop solid mobile marketing strategies. In response to delegates' requests at the 2009 event we are now including workshops as well as industry specific topics. Delegates will be presented with case studies and workshops on how to design solid mobile marketing campaigns for Media (TV, radio, print), Hospitality & Tourism, Sport & Leisure, Retail & FMCG and Health & Beauty (incl. insurance).

3. Is this part of a conference series?

Yes. The 2009 Johannesburg, South Africa leg of the Thinking Mobile™ Confex was the launch of the series. The event is now in its second year. Delegates will be updated periodically of future events.

4. Can I speak at the conference?

We welcome all suggestions for speaker opportunities.  Should you wish to become a speaker at the conference, please contact Mobile Marketing Winner$ team leader and Speaker Relations Manager, Alexander Gregori at alex@mymobworld.com.

5. What are the post-conference benefits?

Our conference website will remain active after the conference and will be linked to various post event opportunities. You can also follow us on Twitter.

6. What does it cost to attend?

The conference, workshops and exhibition price is R4,999 per delegate and includes tea & coffee breaks, lunches as well as the evening networking cocktail function. Take advantage of our Early Bird and Group specials from R3,999 and register NOW!

7. Who can I contact to assist me with accommodation?

We are happy to assist you with your accommodation needs. Please contact our Delegate Relations Manager, Sidi Manuel at sidi@mymobworld.com. Delegates will benefit from our pre-negotiated accommodation packages.

8. What are the payment options?

Upon delegate registration or booking an event partner solution, an invoice will be forwarded to you with the relevant details. Delegates and event partners can pay via electronic transfer or direct deposit and must do so within 5/30 days of the date of the invoice respectively.  No payments will be accepted at the venue.
